Like « Neuilly » district of Paris, Boulogne is a very rich place.Here live prosperous peoples, senior executives, ecologists, artists, people of advertisement (because of the wood of Boulogne where you can run, bike, dream, etc.). But also by the presence of Boulogne film studios and headquarters of major television channels: TF1, Canal Plus and France Television.
This means that the place is quiet, assured.
...Transport
The area is very well served by public transport. The metro is about 250 m.The lines of bus 52 and 71 are also near. Nevertheless a car would be even more pleasant, simply because you have a place to park it just in front of the houseboat, what is an extremely rare situation in Paris. You can take advantage at most of beauties of sites surrounding. For example the Castle of Versailles is 20 mn by car, wood of Boulogne and St Cloud's park (5 mn from the houseboat).
